REx Summit
Go deeper in your RExing and make lifelong friends
September 24–25, 2026 - New York City
These days, AI can generate endless (practically infinite) content.
To stand out - and to truly make an impact - you need clarity, creativity, and a strategy and network to help you share your ideas in ways that resonate.
That’s what The REx Summit is all about.
In an age of AI, real world connections matter more than ever. This two-day, in-person gathering brings together members of the Recognized Expert® community for an intimate, high-energy experience designed to help you:
✅ Strengthen your positioning and clarify what makes your voice distinct
✅ Discover emerging best practices for thought leadership in the AI era
✅ Expand your business, brand, and visibility with practical tools and peer insights
✅ Build authentic relationships, lifelong friendships, and collaborations that last
This isn’t a conference where people talk at you.
It’s a hands-on, interactive summit where we’ll learn with and from one another.
Think of it as a 4:1 ratio of networking and relationship building vs. talks/lectures.
You’ll hear from me, guest experts, and fellow RExers who are at the forefront of building successful, sustainable thought leadership platforms—and you’ll have the chance to workshop your own ideas in real time.
You’ll leave feeling inspired, supported, and equipped with practical strategies you can use to grow your reach and deepen your impact.

Over the course of two immersive days, we’ll dive into the topics that matter most for REXers who are serious about growth:
Crafting your next book, talk, or big idea
Honing your brand positioning
Growing your business and revenue streams
Breaking into high-profile publications
Finding creative new ways to get your ideas seen
Leveraging social media and increasingly important platforms like YouTube and podcasts
Building collaborations and partnerships that multiply your impact
Each session is designed to be practical, energizing, and deeply interactive—so you’ll not only learn but also apply and experiment alongside peers who understand your goals.
A core goal of The REx Summit is connection.
You’ll meet fellow RExers who'll become your collaborators, advocates, and lifelong friends. REx Summit includes:
Welcome reception on Wednesday evening (at my condo building!)
Optional small-group dinners on Thursday night
Optional group walk along the Hudson River on Friday morning
A healthy lunch provided both days
Because attendance is capped at just 42 participants, you’ll have meaningful opportunities to engage with everyone in the room and leave feeling like you have a posse of new friends and collaborators.

You’ll leave not only with new strategies and inspiration, but also with a renewed sense of community and a plan for how to stand out in a world that’s only getting noisier.
If you want to commit to deepening your REx practice in 2026 and work to ensure your best ideas get heard, the best way to do it is to build relationships with others on the same journey. I’d love to spend time with you, and have you join us in New York.

We held the first RexCon - Recognized Expert® Conference - in late 2019. This event - REx Summit - is intended as a medium-sized, special pilot event and if there is interest, we may expand to a larger RExCon in 2027.
This isn’t a “sit and listen” conference. It’s an immersive, highly interactive two-day experience that includes small-group discussions, collaborative exercises, peer learning, and insights from me, guest speakers, and fellow REXers. You’ll walk away with practical tools and real-time feedback—not just ideas, but clear next actions.
Absolutely—that’s one of the core purposes of the summit. We’ll have structured and informal opportunities to connect: a welcome reception the night before, optional small-group dinners on Thursday evening, and even a casual group walk along the Hudson River on Friday. Expect to leave with new friends, collaborators, and potential partners.
No formal prep is required. That said, it can be helpful to come with a few current challenges, goals, or ideas you’d like to refine—such as how you’re positioning yourself, a new project or book idea, or ways you’d like to grow your audience.
Because this is a small, in-person event capped at 42 participants, all ticket sales are final. However, if something unexpected arises, you’re welcome to transfer your spot to a colleague or friend who would benefit from attending (please, of course, make sure to let me know!).
Yes! The limited size is intentional. This is designed as a boutique, high-trust experience where everyone gets to know one another. The small group ensures deep learning, meaningful connections, and plenty of personal attention.
No—this is an in-person experience only. We may record the formal onstage talks for future use, but the majority of the gathering will be in small groups or breakouts. The value of the summit comes from live conversation, collaboration, and connection. What happens in the room stays in the room—so you can share openly and experiment freely.
